Our First ‘Fresh Start’ Graduate

On Friday 18th October, we celebrated the hard work and determination of Sienna: DFA’s first ‘Fresh Start’ graduate!
‘Fresh Start’ is our main reading intervention programme, here at the academy. After just one half term of running the programme, our amazing reading intervention staff are so impressed by how engaged our students have been and are delighted with their progress. As we know, the ability to read fluently and with confidence opens so many doors – doors of opportunity that all of our students deserve access to.
We look forward, over the coming weeks, to celebrate more students following in Sienna’s footsteps and graduating from the programme.
