Student Trip to 'Big Bang' Science Fair

50 of our Year 7 students had a fantastic day at the Big Bang Science Fair at the NEC in Birmingham. They were lucky enough to enjoy a variety of fabulous Science stalls from a host of famous companies such as Rolls Royce, JCB, Specsavers, Easyjet and the NHS. The students had the opportunity to consider different prospective careers and they enjoyed linking these to their potential future aspirations. One student commented, "Wow this place is amazing – I have got so many ideas where I might work when I’m older!" Another student added, "I didn't realise Science was in all of these!" It was definitely a thought provoking and mesmerising day for everyone involved! Our students were an absolute credit to themselves and the Academy with their impeccable and respectful behaviour – well done!
