Student Trip to Methodist Central Hall in London

On Monday 10 students from all years went to Methodist Central Hall, off Parliament Square in London for the Citizens UK General Election Assembly. This was attended by thousands of campaigners and activists from across the country to put questions to leading politicians from the major parties, including the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Angela Raynor. With politicians after our vote, this was a unique opportunity for us to harness the power of civil society and to demonstrate that no decisions about young people should be taken without young people. Our students were excellent ambassadors for our school and our city and gained a huge amount from the event.
