Year 11 Trip to St Edwards College

Seven students from Year 11, were given a guided tour of St Edwards College this week.  It enabled our students to look around their Sixth Form and be given information should they wish to apply to study for A Levels there after leaving Year 11.

The students were able to see the facilities provided by the school, to help them make a informed choice about their next stage of their education.

All students went to a presentation in the school hall, from a representative of Magdalene College Cambridge.  This presentation, was to inform state educated students that applying to study at Oxbridge, is not only achievable, whilst admission rates of private to state school students have improved over the years, Oxford and Cambridge are still in need of talented, driven state school students in their system.
