Legacies of Transatlantic Slavery and the built environment
Posted 30th November 2023
On Thursday 30th November members of the student anti racism team as well as some year 8 historians visited the maritime museum. They were also joined by students from Dixons Croxteth. The purpose of this expedition was to learn more about Transatlantic Slavery, its links to Liverpool and its impact on the built environment in the city. As well as a workshop and visiting the museum, students also took part in a walking tour of Liverpool where they were able to make connections between the past and present. Students were a credit to the school and themselves.
