Community links
At Dixons Fazakerley we work with several organisations within our local community. This offers a multifaceted approach to supporting our students. These organisations bring specialised expertise, resources, and diverse perspectives that complement the educational environment and support students in our academy by providing targeted interventions, personalised assistance, and a broader range of services that may not be available within our academy alone.
Additionally, working alongside external organisations fosters a holistic approach to student wellbeing and addressing aspects of their lives ensuring a supportive network. The external community organisations we work with include the LFC Foundation, the Inclusive Hub, the Girls Out Loud (SAFE Project) and the I Am Project (SAFE project).
The community organisations our students engage with all offer different programmes and experiences such as developing social and academic skills, workshops to focus on self-esteem and self-regulation, and support with developing mental fitness and building positive relationships.
